This role is ideal for experienced Engineering graduates or postgraduates with 3-6 years of specialized experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly in techno-economic project appraisal, policy formulation, city gas distribution, pipeline operations, or regulatory development. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of the petroleum and natural gas industry, be adept at drafting technical standards, and preferably have exposure to Competition Law. This is a contractual engagement for a period of one year, extendable by two years, offering significant responsibility within a key regulatory body.

Individuals seeking permanent government employment should not apply, as this is a purely contractual role with no claim for regularization. Those lacking the specific engineering or master's degrees and the requisite minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector will not meet the essential eligibility criteria.
