Educational Qualification

Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) [Code 101]: Regular full-time 3-year B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Industrial Chemistry with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Training period: 12 months.

Trade Apprentice (Boiler) [Code 103]: Regular full-time 3-year B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Industrial Chemistry with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Training period: 24 months.

Technician Apprentice (Instrumentation) [Code 107]: Regular full-time 3-year Diploma in Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Electronics / Instrumentation & Control / Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD). Training period: 12 months.

Age Limit & Relaxations

Minimum age 18 years and maximum age 24 years as on 30.09.2026 for General/EWS candidates. Upper age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC(NCL), and 10 years for PwBD candidates.

Selection will be formulated strictly on the basis of academic merit (aggregate percentage of marks obtained in all subjects across all years/semesters of the prescribed qualifying B.Sc./Diploma course). There is NO written examination. Shortlisted candidates based on merit ranking will be called for Document Verification from 04th to 06th November 2026, followed by Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Examination.

Apprentices receive comprehensive training in continuous chemical plant operations, boiler dynamics, hazardous fluid handling, process automation, instrumentation maintenance, and industrial safety compliance under experienced refinery engineers.
