This role is ideal for highly motivated postgraduate candidates (M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or allied disciplines, who possess a valid GATE or CSIR-UGC NET score. Preference is given to those with a strong background in Organic Chemistry and practical hands-on experience in synthesis, purification, and characterization techniques, seeking to contribute to cutting-edge research in peptide chemistry and computational molecular design.

Candidates without the stipulated postgraduate qualification or a valid national-level eligibility score (GATE/NET) should not apply. Those primarily seeking a permanent government position or lacking specific practical experience in organic synthesis techniques may find this temporary (11-month) project role less suitable. The absence of TA/DA for interviews might also be a consideration.
