This program is ideal for M.Sc. or M.Tech graduates in Microbiology, Zoology, or Bio-technology who are seeking specialized, hands-on training and a structured mandatory internship in flow cytometry. Important Considerations
Individuals looking for immediate permanent employment or those unwilling to commit to a mandatory six-month post-training bond period (with potential repayment obligations if unfulfilled) should not apply. Candidates uncomfortable with a security deposit and course fees, or those unable to arrange their own accommodation in Navi Mumbai, will find this program unsuitable.
Career Impact
ACTREC, as part of the Tata Memorial Centre and under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, offers significant institutional prestige. This specialized training and internship in flow cytometry provide niche, high-demand skills, greatly enhancing long-term career prospects in biomedical research, diagnostics, or industry, especially within a government research framework. It serves as an excellent foundation for a specialized career.
