Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech degree with an aggregate of 60% marks in one of the following disciplines:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
  • Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (ETC)
  • Instrumentation Engineering
A relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks is provided for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Age, qualification & experience are stipulated as on November 12, 2025.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is relaxable as per Government of India guidelines:
  • 5 years for SC/ST candidates
  • 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates
  • Additional 10 years for PwD candidates over and above the relaxation admissible for SC/ST/OBC – NCL, provided they have a minimum of 40% disability.
Age, qualification & experience are stipulated as on November 12, 2025.

Exam Syllabus & Pattern

The selection process involves a written test and a personal interview.
Written Test:
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Number of Questions: 50 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Subject: Technical ability
  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark for each question, NO negative marking.
  • Pass Marks: 60% (relaxed to 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview based on merit and the number of vacancies. Document verification will be conducted during the second phase, followed by a personal interview in the third phase.

Candidates are required to register ONLINE, which is mandatory, by visiting the career page on the official BEML website, www.bemlindia.in, under Advertisement No. KP/S/25/2025.

The online registration site will be available until 18:00 Hrs on November 12, 2025. Applicants must have a valid email and mobile number for correspondence.

After online registration, candidates must attend the walk-in interview with self-attested copies of the following documents along with their originals:
  • Print out of the BEML Registration Form
  • Identity proof issued by Government of India (e.g., Aadhar, Passport, Driving License, PAN Card)
  • SSLC marks card
  • 12th standard marks card
  • Caste/Category/PwD Certificate (as applicable)
  • BE/B.Tech marks sheets (all semester marksheets are mandatory)
  • BE/B.Tech degree certificate (provisional/course completion certificate)
  • CGPA Conversion certificate/formula (as applicable)
  • Experience Documents (clearly indicating start & end date at each Organization served) along with letter of appointment of each employment.
