Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: M. Tech. / ME in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Nanoscience and Engineering, Nanotechnology, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent degree with a first division (as defined by the awarding Institute / University).
Alternatively, a Post Graduate degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science with a first division (as defined by the awarding Institute / University) and a valid NET/GATE certificate is acceptable.

Age Limit Details

Maximum age limit is 28 years.
5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
3 years relaxation for OBC candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

The fellowship offers:

First two years: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA (as per institute rules)
Third year: Rs. 42,000 per month + HRA (as per institute rules)
