Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Master's degree (M.Tech., M.E., M.S., or M.Sc.) in relevant disciplines such as Metallurgy, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Nanotechnology, Engineering Physics, Ceramics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, Electronics, Nanoscience, and Technology. The degree must be with a first division from an awarding Institute/University, and candidates must have a valid GATE test score.
Age Limit Details
The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 5 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Tribes (SC/ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Salary & Pay Scale
The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000/- plus House Rent Allowance (HRA). Alternatively, candidates may receive Rs. 35,960/- per month if hostel accommodation is provided.
How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to submit a detailed softcopy of their CV along with all relevant Essential Qualification Degree Certificates, Marks Sheets, NET-LS/GATE qualifying certificates, Date of Birth Proof Certificate, and Category Certificates (if applicable) in a single PDF file. This consolidated PDF must be sent via email to the Co-Principal Investigator, Dr. Vinod Kumar, at [email protected] by April 30, 2024. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, tentatively scheduled for the first week of May 2024. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
