Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold an M. Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Engineering, or an equivalent qualification with a first division from a recognized Institute/University.
- Applicants must also be GATE qualified in any branch of engineering.
Desirable qualifications include a strong knowledge of Solid Mechanics and comfort in using commercial software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, and/or LS-Dyna, as well as programming in Fortran, Python, or MATLAB.
Age Limit Details
The age of the applicant should preferably be below 25 years. No specific age relaxations for reserved categories are mentioned in the notification.
Salary & Pay Scale
Candidates selected for the Junior Research Fellow position will receive a salary of Rs. 31,000/- per month, in addition to House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the institute rules.
