Junior Research Fellow

This role is ideal for highly motivated and academically strong candidates holding a First Class B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.E. in relevant engineering fields with a valid GATE score. Candidates with a strong interest in environmental research, specifically 'Understanding the Fate and Transport Mechanism of Geogenic Uranium in the Indo-Gangetic Plain,' will find this project stimulating. It offers an excellent pathway for those aspiring to pursue a PhD, as the selected candidate may register for a PhD programme at IIT (BHU) if eligible.

This position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project, lasting up to 3 years, which may not suit those seeking permanent employment. With only one vacancy, competition will be extremely high. Candidates not meeting the specific essential educational qualifications (B.Tech/B.E. and M.Tech/M.E. with valid GATE in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering) or without a strong background relevant to the specified project may not be considered suitable.
