Best-Fit Profile

This role is ideal for highly qualified postgraduate candidates holding an M.Tech./M.Sc. degree in Polymer Science, Fibre Science, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, or related fields. Preference will be given to those with NET/GATE qualifications and experience in polymer synthesis and characterization. Graduates from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a strong academic record (CGPA > 8.000 or 80% marks) are also well-suited.

Important Considerations

Candidates without a relevant first-class postgraduate degree or those seeking permanent government employment should note this is a contractual, project-based position. Individuals who do not meet the specified academic criteria or lack relevant research experience (if preferred) may find this role unsuitable.

Career Impact

Working as a Junior Research Fellow at a prestigious institution like IIT Delhi offers significant exposure to advanced research in tissue engineering. While the role is contractual and linked to a specific project, it provides excellent foundational experience for a career in academia, industrial R&D, or for pursuing higher education (Ph.D.), significantly enhancing one's profile in the scientific community.
