Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- For Professor: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry, Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), and a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied discipline with a minimum of 10 research publications.
- For Associate Professor: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry, Master's degree with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), and a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied discipline.
- For Assistant Professor: Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science/Animal Husbandry, Master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST), and must have cleared NET (UGC/ICAR/CSIR/SLET/SET) or possess a Ph.D. degree (with certain exemptions).
- Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory for all posts, qualifying in a Kannada language test may be required if not studied at SSLC level.

How to Apply
Online applications are invited in the prescribed form. Candidates must ensure they meet the qualification requirements as of the last date for application.
- Register on the Recruitment portal of the KVAFSU website.
- Fill up the prescribed online application form. Separate applications must be submitted for different posts.
- Before filling the form, prepare scanned copies of photograph, signature, caste/tribe/community certificate (if any), educational qualifications, experience-related documents, and all other required documents in JPEG/JPG/PDF format. Each file should not exceed 500 KB and must be readable.
- Enter details of all research publications and other academic/research contributions in the online application. Uploading research publications is not mandatory for online submission but original publications must be attached to the hard copy of the application and produced during document verification.
- All mandatory fields in the online application must be filled. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
- After successful submission, pay the application fee online through the provided link.
- Download and print the receipt of the submitted application and submit it to KVAFSU during physical verification of documents.
- No changes can be made after submitting the application form.

Application Fee
- Rs.1000.00 for GM/ 2A/2B/3A/3B categories.
- Rs.500 for SC/ST/Cat-I categories.
- Application without payment of prescribed fees will be rejected.
