Eligibility for these posts is determined by an employee's current role (feeder cadre) and length of service within KVS. The essential qualifications vary for each position:
- Principal: Vice Principals with at least 03 years of regular service.
- Vice-Principal: PGTs with 05 years of regular service, holding a Master's Degree and B.Ed.
- PGT (Various Subjects): TGTs with at least 03 years of regular service, holding a Master's Degree and B.Ed. in the relevant subject.
- TGT (Various Subjects): PRTs with 05 years of regular service, holding a Bachelor's Degree, B.Ed., and qualified in CTET Paper-II.
- Head Master: Primary Teachers with at least 05 years of regular service, qualified in CTET Paper-I.
- Finance Officer: Section Officers with 01 year of service (with B.Com) or Assistant Section Officers with 04 years of service (with Commerce graduation, CA Inter, etc.).
- Section Officer: ASO/Steno Gr-I/Hindi Translator with 04 years of regular service and a Graduation degree.
- Senior Secretariat Assistant: JSAs with 08 years of regular service.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant: Sub-staff with at least 03 years of regular service and a Class XII pass certificate.
