Medical Officer Ayurveda

• Candidates must possess a Degree in Ayurveda from a University or statutory State Board/Council/Faculty of Indian Medicine recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
• Applicants must also have enrolment on the Central Register of Indian Medicine or a State Register of Indian Medicine.

The upper age limit is 35 years as on the date of reporting for interview. Rules for Reservation, including age relaxation for eligible categories, will be implemented as per Government of India instructions.

Candidates are required to attend a walk-in interview on June 17, 2026, at 09:00 AM at ESIC Medical College & Hospital, K.K. Nagar, Chennai. The application process involves the following steps:

• Report for document verification with a filled application form and self-attested copies of certificates (age, educational qualification, experience) between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM. No candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM.
• Only candidates whose documents are verified will be permitted to attend the walk-in interview.
• Original certificates and testimonials must be presented during document verification.
• A Demand Draft for the application fee (if applicable) must be submitted during document verification.
• If the turnout of candidates is high (more than 1:10 ratio per post), a screening test consisting of multiple-choice questions in the concerned discipline may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the interview.
• The final selection will be based solely on the candidate's performance in the interview.
