Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Must have passed plus two (12th standard) with Biology or Botany and Zoology as subjects.
- Must have passed Tamil language as a subject at the S.S.L.C (10th standard) level.
- Must possess a two-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male), Health Inspector, or Sanitary Inspector course certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
- Note (One-time relaxation): Candidates with a one-year Multipurpose Health Worker (Male) or Sanitary Inspector course certificate are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit Details
The minimum age for all categories is 18 years as on 01.07.2025. The upper age limit details are as follows:

How to Apply
- Candidates must apply online through the official MRB website: www.mrb.tn.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on “Online Registration” to open the application form.
- Select the name of the post: Health Inspector Grade-II.
- Fill in all required particulars carefully. A valid mobile number and email ID are mandatory for communication.
- Upload scanned copies of your colour photograph and signature as per the specified guidelines.
- Upload necessary documents and evidence for all claims (e.g., community certificate, educational qualifications) at the time of application submission.
- Pay the application fee online via Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Mobile Wallet.
- After successful payment, a final Registration Number and Password will be generated. Save these for future reference.
- Candidates can save or print their application in PDF format after final submission.
Application Fee
The application fee is as follows:
- SC / SCA / ST / DAP(PH): Rs. 300/-
- Others: Rs. 600/-
Payment must be made online. Candidates who applied and paid for the withdrawn Notification No. 06/MRB/2023 are exempt from paying the fee again but must provide previous payment details.
