• Counsellor: Graduation in Social Science. Master Degree is preferential.
• Nurses: GNM, B.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing, or ANM depending on the specific post.
• Accountant-II: Graduate in Commerce.
• Technicians: Passed 12th with Science and relevant Diploma (e.g., Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Technology).
• Managers/Coordinators: Graduate with relevant experience, or professional qualifications like M.Com/MBA/Inter CA/ICWA.
• Doctors/Specialists: MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma, BHMS, BAMS/BHMS/BUMS with MPH.
• Other posts: Graduate from a recognized university, often with a computer diploma/certificate.

Note: All applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal and have knowledge of local languages.

Age limits vary significantly by post, ranging from a minimum of 18 to a maximum of 67 years as on 01st January 2025. Common age limits are 21-40 years. Age relaxation will be given for reserved candidates as per existing norms of the State Government.
