National Health Mission Chandigarh Recruitment 2026: 4 Contractual Medical Officer (MCH) Posts

This role is most suitable for MBBS doctors who have completed a one-year compulsory rotatory internship and possess a minimum of six months of post-qualification work experience. Candidates must be registered with a State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India-New Delhi. Preference will be given to those with experience in Gynae & Obs/Paeds and a CCC+ Course on Computer Concepts Plus. Existing contractual Medical Officers under NHM, Chandigarh, are also eligible and encouraged to apply.

Individuals without an MBBS degree, a completed one-year internship, or the mandatory six months of post-qualification work experience should not apply. The position is contractual, so candidates seeking permanent government employment may find it unsuitable. Applicants not registered with a recognized medical council are also ineligible.
