Student Counsellor

An ideal candidate is a trained psychologist or medical professional with a deep understanding of student psychology, possessing either an M.A/M.Sc. in Psychology (with 2 years of experience) or an MBBS in Psychiatric Medicine (with 1 year of experience). It is highly suitable for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time commitment (9 hours per week).

Candidates without a formal qualification in Psychology/Psychiatric Medicine, or those who lack the mandatory institutional counseling experience (1 to 3 years depending on the degree), will not be considered. Additionally, those seeking permanent or full-time employment should not apply.

NIT Goa is an Institution of National Importance. Although the role is part-time and temporary, gaining experience in a top-tier federal educational campus adds substantial professional prestige and academic counseling weight to a therapist's resume.
