NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY ROURKELA Recruitment 2025 – 1 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Post

To be eligible for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position, candidates must possess an M.Sc. degree in Life Science, Environmental Science, Zoology, Biotechnology, Botany, Aquatic Biology, or related subjects. A minimum of 60% marks or 6.50 CGPA on a 10-point scale is required. Additionally, candidates must have qualified GATE or NET (LS) conducted by UGC/CSIR/ICMR/DST/ICAR.

The upper age limit for applying for the project position is 28 years. Age relaxation of up to 5 years is provided for candidates belonging to Schedule Castes (SC), Schedule Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), and Female applicants. Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs - Non-creamy layer) are eligible for a 3-year age relaxation. The upper age limit will be calculated based on the last date of receipt of applications.
