National Medical Library Director (Library) Recruitment 2026 - 01 Vacancy

This role is ideally suited for highly experienced and professional librarians with a strong background in medical library management and information science. Candidates must be current Group 'A' officers in Central/State Government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies, possessing a Bachelor's degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science and at least 12 years of relevant professional experience. Those with additional experience in computerizing library activities, indexing health literature, and holding a Diploma in Computer Applications will be highly regarded.

Individuals lacking the mandatory 12 years of professional library experience or a Bachelor's degree in Library Science are not eligible. The position is for deputation; therefore, candidates who are not government officers or those exceeding the maximum age limit of 56 years as on the application deadline should not apply.
