- M.E./M.Tech. in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Nanotechnology, Petrochemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Bioprocess Engineering, or an allied branch. This includes candidates with or without a valid GATE score, provided minimum marks requirements are met.
- M.Sc. in Chemistry from a recognized Institute/University, with or without a valid GATE/NET or equivalent national-level qualification, meeting minimum marks requirements.
- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or an allied branch from Central Institutes/Universities, with a minimum CGPA of 7.5 or above.
Minimum Marks Requirement:
- Candidates belonging to UR/EWS/OBC-NCL categories must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or a CGPA of 6.5).
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0).
