Essential Qualifications & Specialization Preferences:
Essential Educational Qualification: B.Tech. and M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with First Class (minimum 6.5 CGPA out of 10 or 60% aggregate marks).
Desirable Qualification: Valid GATE qualification is desirable.
Specialization Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in Power Electronics and Drives, Electrical Machines and Drives, or equivalent disciplines, possessing hands-on knowledge of Gallium Nitride (GaN) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) wide-bandgap (WBG) power semiconductors, resonant gate driver design and analysis, three-phase inverter topologies, and electric vehicle (EV) propulsion systems.
Project Role: Performing circuit simulations (MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, PLECS), hardware prototyping of resonant gate drivers, experimental testing of GaN-based propulsion inverters, loss modeling, and publishing peer-reviewed IEEE research articles.
