Professor Eligibility (A or B):
- Option A:
- An eminent scholar with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied (Odia Subject)/relevant discipline.
- Published work with a minimum of TEN research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed Scopus/WoS/UGC-CARE journals and a total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- Minimum TEN years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor and/or research experience at an equivalent university/national level, with evidence of successfully guided doctoral candidates.
- Option B: An outstanding professional with a Ph.D. in relevant/allied/applied disciplines from academic institutions or industry, who has made significant contributions to knowledge in the field, supported by documentary evidence, and possesses ten years' experience.
- A good academic record with a Ph.D. in the concerned/allied (Odia Subject)/relevant disciplines.
- Master's Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade).
- Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to Assistant Professor.
- Minimum SEVEN publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed/Scopus/WoS/UGC-CARE journals with a total research score of 75 as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- Option A:
- A Master's Degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the concerned/relevant/allied (Odia subject) from an Indian or accredited foreign university. (Relaxation of 5% for SC/ST/SEBC and Ph.D. holders prior to 19.09.1991).
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC (SLET/SET), OR have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016 (exempted from NET/SLET/SET if specific conditions are met regarding Ph.D. award).
- Option B: A Ph.D. degree obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (QS, THE, ARWU, Shanghai Jiao Tong University).
