This role is ideal for experienced local journalists residing within 10 km of their respective District Headquarters in Meghalaya. A commitment to local news gathering and familiarity with Central Government welfare schemes are key.

Individuals without a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of journalistic experience should not apply. Those outside the age bracket of 24-50 years as of April 10, 2026, or who do not reside within the specified local radius, will not be considered. Current Central/State Government employees, UT Administration, PSUs members, or active political party members are ineligible.
