Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Master's degree (M.Tech./M.E./M.S. or equivalent) in Metallurgical Engineering / Materials Science and Engineering / Metallurgical and Materials Engineering as per ANRF norms.
- OR Bachelor's degree (B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent) in relevant engineering disciplines as per ANRF norms.
- OR M.Sc. in Materials Science / Physics / Nanoscience and Technology as per ANRF norms.
- Desirable:
- Background in physical metallurgy and thermodynamics.
- Understanding of microstructure-property relationships.
- Experience in characterization/mechanical testing (preferred).
- Familiarity with Python and Ubuntu/Linux environment.
Salary & Pay Scale
The fellowship will be provided as per ANRF (Advanced Research Grant) norms. Accommodation in the institute hostel may be provided subject to availability; otherwise, House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be applicable.
