Project Associate I

This role is ideal for highly motivated M.Sc. graduates in Food Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology, particularly those who have qualified national eligibility tests (CSIR-UGC NET, GATE) or possess relevant research/product development experience. Candidates with hands-on experience in cell line and animal experiments, or molecular biology techniques, will find Position-II particularly suitable. The temporary and contractual nature makes it a good fit for individuals seeking project-based research exposure in a prestigious national laboratory.

Candidates exceeding 35 years of age as of July 7, 2026 (without considering relaxations) or those who have already completed 6 years of project staff engagement across CSIR labs are ineligible. Individuals with qualifications below M.Sc. or awaiting their final results should not apply. Those seeking permanent government employment immediately should note the contractual and temporary nature of these positions.
