Educational Qualification

The essential qualifications for Project Associate PAT-I are:
  • For Project "The Himalayan Centre for High-throughput Computational Biology (HiCHiCoB)-BIC at CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.) (GAP-0282)":
    • Essential: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from a recognized university OR MCA from a recognized university or equivalent.
    • Desirable: Proven working experience in Linux/NGS/Deep-Learning. For MCA candidates, at least one research publication in the area of AI/DL is desirable.
  • For Project "National Network Project of CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (GAP-0315)":
    • Essential: M.Sc. in Bioinformatics from a recognized university OR M.Sc. in Data Science/AI from a recognized university.
    • Desirable: Experience in working with NGS data and Linux OS.

Age Limit & Relaxations

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Women: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation
  • Relaxations as per Government of India instructions issued from time to time.
