Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- A Graduate from a University established by law in India.
- One of the following or higher qualifications in Computer Education:
- "O" or Higher Level Certificate Course from DOEACC (Department of Electronics, Government of India).
- Certificate course on Computer concepts from NIELIT, or Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)/Data Preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) certificate from National/State Council or Vocational Training Scheme.
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application from a government-recognized university or institution.
- Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Computer Application as one of the subjects from a recognized Board.
- Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a government-recognized polytechnic institution.
- Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT) from Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota.
- Knowledge of working in Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture.
Candidates appearing in the final year of the prescribed educational qualification can apply, but must acquire the qualification by the date of the examination.
