Candidates must possess an MBBS degree from a Medical Council of India (MCI) or National Medical Commission (NMC) recognised institute, with 01 year compulsory rotatory internship. Registration under the West Bengal Medical Council is mandatory for all posts.
For specific Specialist posts, a Post-Graduate Degree/DNB/Diploma in the relevant specialty (Medicine, Paediatric Medicine, G & O, or Ophthalmology) is required.
For Medical Officer (NTEP), working knowledge in Computer is essential.
Preference will be given for post Graduate Diploma/Degree in G&O or Paediatrics for Medical Officer (RKSK) and for Diploma/MD Public Health/ Community Health Administration (CHA)/ Tuberculosis & Chest diseases for Medical Officer (NTEP).
