Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. degree OR an ME/M.Tech. degree. If holding an ME/M.Tech., applicants must also have at least 3 years of research, teaching, and design and policy experience.
Additionally, all applicants must have at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal in a relevant field.
Salary & Pay Scale
Postdoctoral Fellows will receive a consolidated salary based on the Department of Science & Technology (DST) salary structure for Research Associate positions:
- Research Associate-I: Rs. 47,000/- per month
- Research Associate-II: Rs. 49,000/- per month
- Research Associate-III: Rs. 54,000/- per month
The specific category will be determined by the selection committee based on the candidate's qualification, experience, and interview performance.
Additional benefits include:
- House Rent Allowance (HRA): May be provided as per Government norms applicable in the city/location if institute accommodation is not available.
- Medical Benefits: Entitled for medical allowance as per institute policy.
- Travel Entitlement: For participation in scientific events/workshops within India as per institute norms.
Please note that Dearness Allowance (DA) will not be provided.
