Final year students are eligible to apply, provided they complete and obtain their Graduation Degree before the commencement of the course (01 April 2027). For shortlisting purposes, aggregate percentages from the first two/three years of the degree course will be considered for final year students.

On commissioning, officers are granted the rank of Lieutenant at Pay Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500) of the Pay Matrix, with an approximate CTC of 17-18 Lac per annum. This CTC excludes free medical cover and annual travel to the hometown. Additionally, officers are entitled to a fixed Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs. 15,500/- per month from Lieutenant to Brigadier ranks.
Cadets undergoing training at OTA receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month.

Officers posted to Field Areas are eligible for additional Field Area allowances, and hardship allowances vary based on the location's categorisation (High, Medium, Low) and specific duties.
