Tata Memorial Centre 2026 Recruitment: Multiple Senior Research Fellow Vacancies

This role is ideally suited for highly qualified post-graduates in Basic Science or Professional Courses who have successfully cleared national-level examinations such as CSIR-UGC NET/GATE. A mandatory minimum of two years of research and development experience in industry, academia, or scientific organizations is crucial. The ideal candidate will also possess specialized expertise in viral vector handling, immuno-engineering techniques, mammalian cell culture, animal handling (preclinical tumour models), and computational skills, demonstrating a strong foundation in interdisciplinary research relevant to cancer therapy.

Candidates who do not possess a postgraduate degree in the specified scientific or professional fields, or who lack the compulsory two years of R&D experience, should not apply. Individuals without qualifications from CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or equivalent national exams will also be ineligible. Given the highly specialized nature of the project, those without practical experience in viral vector handling, immuno-engineering, or advanced cell culture techniques may find themselves at a significant disadvantage. This is a contractual position for 6 months (extendable), making it unsuitable for individuals seeking permanent employment.
