- Option 1: Ph.D. in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering.
- Option 2: M.Tech./M.E./P.G. Degree in relevant disciplines, coupled with a 1st Division/Class or equivalent overall grade point average in a 4/5-year Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Engineering. This option also requires at least 3 years of research experience, demonstrated through fellowships, associateships, training, or other research engagements, and the publication of one research paper in a Science Citation Index/NAAS rated (≥ 4.0) journal.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in testing-related activities (preferably farm machinery/equipment testing) and CAD/CAM drawing experience (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo).
