Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University; OR
- B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University.
- Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
- OR
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an Indian/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board/Council with:
- Registration as Nurses & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
- Two Years' Experience in a minimum 50-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
Age Limit Details
The age limit is 18–30 years as on the last date of application. Permissible relaxations include:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PWBD: 10 years (subject to maximum age of 56 years)
- PWBD + OBC: 13 years
- PWBD + SC/ST: 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Central Govt. Civilian Employees (General): 5 years
Salary & Pay Scale
The posts carry Level 07 pay scale in the Pay Matrix (pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300 - 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600), Group-B. Candidates are also eligible for usual allowances admissible to Central Government Servants.
