Educational Qualification
- For B.Sc. Nursing Candidates:
- B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/state Nursing council recognized Institute or University.
- OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute/ University.
- Must be registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council.
- For Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) Candidates:
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing council recognized Institute / Board or Council.
- Must be registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council.
- Two years' experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the essential educational qualification mentioned above. This experience must be acquired after obtaining the Essential Qualification, completing the residency period of the course, declaration of result & registration with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
Age Limit Details
Age shall be counted on the last date of closing of the application form (11.08.2025). Age relaxation is permissible for various categories as follows:

The upper age limit in respect of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of persons etc. shall be relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Government of India from time to time.
Salary & Pay Scale
Posts are at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix pre-revised Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4600/-.
These are Group-B posts for AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS, as per available vacancies in the respective Institutes. The posts carry the usual allowance as admissible to Central Government Servants of similar status stationed at respective cities of respective Institutes/Hospitals.

How to Apply
Interested and eligible candidates must apply online through the official website www.aiimsexams.ac.in. The online application window is from 22.07.2025 to 11.08.2025 (up to 5:00 P.M.).
Key steps and important points:
- Applicants must submit their application only through ON-LINE mode.
- No physical documents, including the online application form, are required to be sent.
- Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the Application Form and proof of payment for their records.
- Correction in registration will not be considered via Email/letter; candidates must fill their registration form carefully.
- The edit panel for corrections related to registration or application form completion (only for those who made payment) will be available from 22.08.2025 to 28.08.2025. Changes in reservation categories are not allowed once fees are submitted.
- Candidates must ensure that images of photo, signature, and thumb impression adhere to the 'Upload Image Instructions' on the portal, as non-compliant images will lead to rejection.
- All required certificates to substantiate eligibility must be in possession by the closing date of online application and submitted as and when demanded.
- Candidates can find detailed guidelines/instructions to fill the application form and contact information on the website.
Application Fee
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three Thousand only)
- SC/ST Candidates/EWS: Rs.2400/- (Rupees Twenty-Four Hundred only)
- Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): Exempted
Candidates can pay the fee through DEBIT CARD/CREDIT CARD/NETBANKING. Transaction / Processing fee, if any, will be payable to the bank by the candidate. Application fees, once remitted, are non-refundable. Applications without the prescribed fee will be rejected. Application Fees of SC/ST candidates who appear in the Examination will be refunded after the declaration of results, subject to verification of their SC/ST certificate uploaded at a later stage.
