AIIMS Patna Recruitment 2026: Apply for Scientist-C Post, 1 Vacancy

• Essential (Any one of the following):
  • First Class Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Medical Biochemistry, Applied Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Medical Microbiology/Genetics from a recognized university.
  • Second class M.Sc. with a PhD degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university.
  • B.Tech in Biotechnology from a reputed university with 6 years of research experience.
• Desirable:
  • Doctorate or M.Sc. Degree in Molecular Biology or Genetics from a recognized university for candidates with a first-class relevant degree.
  • Additional Post-doctoral research/training experience in Molecular Genetics subjects in recognized institute(s) in Diagnostic Pathology.
  • Well-versed with molecular techniques, PCR handling, RT PCR, gene sequencing with at least 1 year of experience in a diagnostic laboratory.
  • Knowledge of Bioinformatics, Computer Applications, Business Intelligence tools, or Data Management.
  • Two years of R&D / Teaching experience in a relevant subject after obtaining the essential qualification.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and Hindi.

The upper age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental candidates (including projects), and Ex-servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time.
