Bengaluru Rural District Court Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 21 Stenographer Grade-III Posts

Educational credentials and technical shorthand qualifications for Stenographer Grade-III in Bengaluru Rural District Court:
• General Education: Passed 2nd PUC (10+2 / Class 12) from Karnataka Pre-University Education Board OR 3-year Diploma in Commercial Practice from the Directorate of Technical Education, or equivalent.
• Shorthand & Typewriting Certification: Must have passed Senior Grade Shorthand and Senior Grade Typewriting examinations in BOTH Kannada and English conducted by the Karnataka Department of Public Instruction, or equivalent.
• Computer Literacy: Practical knowledge of computer operations and office automation software.
• Age Limits: 18 to 40 years for General; 18 to 43 years for Cat-2A/2B/3A/3B; 18 to 45 years for SC/ST/Cat-1 (inclusive of 5-year one-time age relaxation).

Age criteria as on the application closing date (15.09.2026), including 5 years one-time relaxation per Karnataka Govt Order No. DPAR 262 SeNeNi 2025 dated 29.01.2026:
• General Merit (GM): 18 to 40 years.
• Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B: 18 to 43 years.
• SC, ST, and Category-1: 18 to 45 years.
Standard relaxations apply for PwD, Widows, and Ex-Servicemen as per KCSR rules.

• Pay the application fee online through State Bank Collect.
• After successful submission and fee payment, download and retain a printout of the application form and fee receipt for future reference and document verification.
• Do not submit multiple applications. If more than one application is submitted, only the last complete application will be considered.
• Candidates must present original documents for verification during the interview/document verification stage, including the online application printout, fee receipt, proof of date of birth (SSLC marks card/birth certificate), educational qualification certificates (PUC/Diploma, Kannada/English Typewriting and Shorthand certificates), caste/income certificates (Forms D, E, F), and other relevant certificates (rural, Kannada medium, ex-servicemen, PWD, widow, bonded labour, third gender) issued by competent authorities.
