Essential Qualifications & Language Proficiency:
Educational Qualification: Must have passed SSLC (Class 10th) examination conducted by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB / KSEAB) or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
Language Proficiency: Must know to read and write the Kannada language proficiently.
Probation: 2 years as per Karnataka Civil Services (Probation) Rules, 1977; candidate must pass prescribed departmental Kannada language test during probation.

Selection Process:
1. Online Registration: Candidates must submit online applications through the official portal https://hassan.dcourts.gov.in/Judges/online-recruitment/ by 17 September 2026 (11:59 PM).
2. Shortlisting (1:10 Ratio): Eligible applicants are ranked by their aggregate percentage in the SSLC / 10th standard exam. For each advertised vacancy in each reservation category, top 10 candidates (1:10 ratio) are called for the interview.
3. Interview (10 Marks): The selection committee evaluates candidates' general knowledge, communication ability in Kannada, and personal aptitude (carrying 10 marks).

Application Procedure

  • The application portal will be active from 2026-08-19 to 2026-09-17 (until 11:59 PM).
  • Before applying, candidates must carefully read all instructions provided in the notification to avoid errors. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected.
  • Candidates must mandatorily provide their active mobile number and email ID. The authority is not responsible if SMS or email notifications are not received due to incorrect contact details.
