DoPT Despatch Rider Recruitment 2026 (01 Post)

This role is ideal for serving Group 'C' employees (Multi Tasking Staff or current Despatch Riders) in Central Government Ministries/Departments, particularly those within the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Candidates must possess a valid driving license for a motorcycle or auto-rickshaw, have at least two years of driving experience, a 10th standard pass, and knowledge of minor vehicle mechanics. Those nearing retirement or transferring to reserve within a year from the Armed Forces with relevant experience and qualifications are also encouraged to apply.

Individuals who do not hold a Group 'C' position in a Central Government Ministry/Department or lack a valid driving license and two years of driving experience should not apply. Departmental officers in the direct line of promotion for Despatch Rider are also ineligible. Candidates exceeding 56 years of age as of 30.09.2026 will not be considered.
