The pay scale for the post of Laboratory Assistant (Chemical Engineering) is specified as Pay Level-6, with an entry pay of Rs. 35,400/-.

• Applications must be submitted online through the official website https://www.btsc.bihar.gov.in between April 6, 2026, and May 6, 2026.
• Candidates must have a photo ID, preferably an Aadhaar Card. Other valid IDs like PAN Card or Driving License can also be used.
• All required certificates and mark sheets, including matriculation, three-year diploma, caste certificates (if applicable), domicile certificates, and experience certificates (if claiming marks for experience), must be issued by the application deadline (May 6, 2026).
• These documents must be scanned clearly and uploaded in the designated column during the online application process. Illegible or unclear documents will lead to rejection.
• Candidates should ensure all information filled in the online application is accurate and complete, as no changes or corrections will be allowed after submission. The commission will not be responsible for any errors.
• Applicants should retain a downloaded copy of the fully submitted online application and all uploaded documents for future reference and document verification.
• A recent photograph (not older than 3 months) showing the full face and head, with open eyes and a white background, must be uploaded. Candidates wearing glasses must remove them for the photo. At least five additional copies of the uploaded photograph should be kept.
• The application fee must be paid online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, or UPI. The receipt should be saved for future reference.

A non-refundable examination fee of Rs. 100/- is required from all candidates. Additional bank charges will apply as per the online payment method used (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI).
