Educational Qualification
- Engineering Discipline: A minimum Second Class degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Metallurgical, Textile, Chemical, Computer, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, or any other recognized engineering branch.
- Science/Economics Graduates: A minimum Second Class degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Chemistry from a recognized university.
- Management/Pharmacy/Professional Qualifications: Candidates may also qualify with an MBA/P.G. Diploma from an AICTE recognized institution, a Pharmacy degree from an AICTE recognized institution, or professional memberships such as CA or ICWA.
- Specialized Degrees: Qualifications in Silk Technology/Management or Leather Technology from AICTE recognized institutions are also accepted.
Age Limit Details
Relaxations in the upper age limit are applicable:
- Bihar Government Servants: Up to 5 years.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years plus the period of service in defense, with an overall maximum age of 57 years on the application date.

- Visit the BPSC website: https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in.
- Click on the 'New user Registration Button' to register.
- A valid and active email ID and mobile number are required for OTR.
- Applicants who have previously registered on the online portal must also complete the new OTR process.
- Use your mobile number/email ID and the created password to log in to your dashboard at https://bpsconline.bihar.gov.in/candidate/login.
- Only one OTR registration per candidate is allowed.
- After OTR, proceed to create your profile by filling in personal information, address details, other information, educational qualifications, and experience details (if applicable).
- Upload a live photograph captured via webcam and scanned English and Hindi signatures.
- Ensure all information provided is accurate and correct. Changes to the profile are allowed before submitting the application for a specific advertisement.
- After profile lock, proceed to the 'New Application' tab for this advertisement.
- Fill out the detailed application form, pay the requisite fees (Rs. 100/- exam fee + Rs. 200/- biometric fee if Aadhaar not provided), and submit.
- It is mandatory to download and print two copies of the submitted application form for future reference.
- Keep all original certificates and documents ready for verification at the time of document verification/interview.
