The College of Agriculture is a constituent college of the Central Agricultural University (CAU), located in Iroisemba, Imphal, Manipur. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Essential: A minimum of a Master's degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech. / BS-MS dual degree or equivalent) in relevant fields of Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or other related disciplines. Candidates with national-level examination qualification (GATE / CSIR or UGC-NET JRF / DBT JRF / ICMR JRF or DST-Inspire) or exposure of working in foreign laboratories are preferred.
Desirable: Excellent communication skills, sound logical/thinking abilities, readiness to travel across the North East region of India for sample collection, and hands-on expertise in routine biochemical/microbiology assays and handling biochemistry laboratory equipment.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 40 years. Standard relaxations apply as follows:

SC/ST/Women Candidates: Relaxation of 5 years
OBC Candidates: Relaxation of 3 years
