Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Project Assistant-II (PA-II): B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. Desirable: M.Sc. in Geophysics / Marine Geophysics.
  • Project Associate-I (PAT-I): M.Sc./M.Sc.(Tech) / M.Tech/ M.S. / Integrated M.Tech in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics / Exploration Geophysics / Earth Sciences / Geophysical Technology / Equivalent. Desirable for one post: Experience in Geophysical / Mineral Exploration, Remote Sensing & GIS applied in Mineral Exploration.

Age Limit Details

The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as follows: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Salary & Pay Scale

* Note: Rs.31,000/- for candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET including lectureship / assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT / DST or equivalent and / or their Agencies / Institutions.

Candidates can appear for a Walk-in-Interview at the specified venue and time. Candidates must bring originals and one set of photocopies of Certificates of educational qualifications, Curriculum Vitae, age, caste (if applicable), experience (if any), and one recent passport size photo.

  • Venue of Interview: CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Near NGRI Metro Station, Uppal Road, Hyderabad, Telangana–500007.
  • Interview Dates: November 28, 2025 and December 03, 2025 (as per post).
  • Reporting Time: 08:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the venue.
