Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess either:

A Post Graduate degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or Child Development.
OR A Graduate degree with a minimum of three years of experience in child education and development or protection issues.

Additionally, an entity or official associated with child rights/protection organizations or children's homes may also be eligible as per Rule 5(6) of the POCSO Rules 2020.

Age Limit Details

Applicants must be between 21 and 65 years of age as on the date of publication of the advertisement. There are no specified age relaxations mentioned for different categories.

Salary & Pay Scale

Remuneration for Support Persons is fixed at Rs. 600/- per visit allowance. The engagement is purely on an honorarium basis and is temporary. Payment is subject to the availability of budget from the Central and State Governments. There is no possibility of these positions becoming regular or permanent.
