The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Dakshin Dinajpur, operating under the Government of West Bengal, is responsible for managing health and family welfare programs in the district, including the implementation of the National Health Mission (NHM).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

For Community Health Officers (CHO) [Nursing category]:
- Passed Integrated course of BPCCHN included in B.Sc. Nursing in the year 2021 or thereafter from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.
OR (For Nurses who completed GNM / Post Basic B.Sc / B.Sc. Nursing before 2021 and will undergo CPCH training):
- Passed General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / Post Basic B.Sc / B.Sc. Nursing before the year 2021 from an institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.
OR (For Community Health Officers (CHO) [BAMS category]):
- Passed BAMS from a recognised Institute / University.
Common Requirements for all categories:
- Must have a valid registration certificate/provisional certificate issued from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC) or Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisas (West Bengal Ayurved Council), as applicable.
- Proficiency in Bengali/local language and dialect is mandatory.
- Desirable criteria: Competency in MS Office & Internet.
All essential qualifications must be completed on or before 2025-11-13.

Upper age relaxation will be provided as per Government norms for reserved categories.

Salary & Pay Scale

Consolidated monthly remuneration:

Rs. 20,000.00 per month.
In addition, the CHOs will also get a maximum incentive of Rs. 5,000.00 per month as PLI (Performance Linked Incentive) based on approved parameters.

For candidates undergoing CPCH training (General Nursing & Midwifery / Post Basic B.Sc / B.Sc. Nursing before 2021), a stipend of Rs. 10,000.00 per month will be provided during their training period.

Application fees of Rs. 100/- for General categories.
Application fees of Rs. 50/- for Reserved categories.
The application fee is non-refundable and must be deposited during online application.
