The District Health & Family Welfare Samiti, Paschim Medinipore, under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, is engaging personnel on a contractual basis. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Name of the Post	Essential Criteria
Block Epidemiologist	M.Sc. in Life Science/Epidemiology or BAMS/BHMS/BUMS with MPH. Proficiency in advance MS-Office.
Block Public Health Manager	B.Sc. in Life Science with Post Graduate Degree / Diploma in Management. Proficiency in advance MS-Office.
Laboratory Technician	Passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/ Biological Science. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from an institution recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal or Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (DLT) from School of Tropical Medicine.

Age Limit Details

The age limit is calculated as on 01.01.2025. The minimum age is 21 years for Block Epidemiologist and Block Public Health Manager, and 19 years for Laboratory Technician. The maximum age for all posts is 40 years. Age relaxation is applicable for ST, SC, OBC-A & OBC-B candidates as per Government Norms.

Ensure the application form is filled in completely and correctly, as incomplete forms are liable to be cancelled.
The last date for registration and fee payment is 04.12.2025.
After submission, applicants should download a print copy of the online registration form for future reference and document verification. There is no need to send a hard copy by post.

Application Fee

Application fees are Rs. 100/- for General categories and Rs. 50/- for Reserve categories. The fee must be deposited through online mode only and is non-refundable.
