DRDO Recruitment 2026: 1 Consultant Vacancy for Retired Government Officials

• For Pensioners: A fixed monthly amount will be admissible, calculated by deducting the basic pension from the pay drawn at the time of retirement. This amount will remain unchanged throughout the contract. Additionally, a fixed monthly conveyance allowance of Rs. 5000/- will be provided for Level 13A equivalent.
• For Non-Pensioners: A maximum consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- along with a conveyance allowance of Rs. 5000/- will be provided.
• Other Allowances: Consultants will not be entitled to Dearness Allowance, Transport Facility, Residential Accommodation, personal staff, CGHS, Medical reimbursement, etc. However, travel inside the country for official work will be reimbursed as per TA/DA rules commensurate with their retired Grade Pay/Pay Level.

Interested and eligible retired employees from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, and Government R&D Organisations should submit their applications by post.
