Educational Qualification

Post	Educational Qualification
Probationary Officer (Generalist)	A Bachelor's Degree (Graduate) in any discipline from a recognized university.
Probationary Officer (Specialist - Rajbhasha/Hindi)	A Master's Degree in Hindi/English with specific combinations as detailed in the notification, with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

The final result must have been declared on or before 01.11.2025.

Age Limit Details

The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1995 and not later than 01.11.2004 (both dates inclusive). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: 5 years

Salary & Pay Scale

The pay scale is ₹ 88,635-4385(14)-150025-4750(4)-169025. In addition to the basic pay, appointed officers are eligible for various allowances such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, Medical Allowance, and more. The current approximate Cost to Company (CTC) for an Executive Officer (Probationary Officer) posted in Mumbai is around ₹20,00,000 per annum.
