Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must hold a degree from a recognized University in languages, specifically English and Marathi. Candidates not holding a degree in these languages are not eligible to apply.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who also possess a Degree in Law from a recognized University.
  • Proficiency in English and Marathi is mandatory, along with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Hindi or Konkani.
  • A Computer Certificate for proficiency in operating Word Processors (like MS Office, Wordstar7, Open Office) in both Windows and Linux environments is required. The certificate must be from one of the institutes listed in the official notification.

Salary & Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be placed in the Pay Matrix S-18, with a pay scale of ₹ 49,100 - ₹ 1,55,800, plus other allowances as admissible per government rules.

How to Apply

  • Candidates must apply online through the official High Court website: https://bombayhighcourt.nic.in.
  • The application link will be active from 11:00 a.m. on 27/11/2025 until 05:00 p.m. on 12/12/2025.
  • Before filling the form, candidates must pay the registration fee of ₹ 300/- through the 'SBI Collect' portal to get an alphanumeric reference number.
  • Fill the online application form with the SBI Collect reference number and other required details.
  • Upload a recent passport-size photograph and signature in .jpg/.jpeg format, with each file not exceeding 40 KB.
  • Review the application, click the 'Declaration' box, and submit the form by clicking 'I Agree'.
  • Note down the Registration number and take a printout of the final application form for future reference. No physical copies need to be sent at this stage.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of ₹ 300/- (Rupees Three Hundred only). The payment must be made online through the SBI Collect gateway facility.
