Educational Qualification

Eligibility Criteria (Deputation):

Candidates must be officers under the Central Government, State Government, or Union Territory Administration meeting one of the following criteria:

  • Holding an analogous post on a regular basis in the present cadre or department; OR
  • With 5 (five) years of regular service in the post of Assistant Public Relations Officer or a post of equivalent nature in the parent cadre or department.
Desirable Skills:
  • Sufficient experience in Social Media Usage, Preparation of Power Point Presentation, Social Media Content Creation, Photo/Video Shooting, and Editing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Age Limit Details

The maximum age limit shall not exceed 50 (fifty) years as on the last date of receipt of applications. No information on age relaxation is provided.

Salary & Pay Scale

The selected candidate will be placed in Level 15 of the 5th Meghalaya Pay Commission Pay matrix, with a pay of Rs 45,600/-. The appointment is on a deputation basis for a period of 3 (three) years.

Applications are invited from eligible officers for the post on a deputation basis. The application must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure I) and forwarded through the proper channel.

List of Enclosures:
  • Application in the prescribed format, duly completed, signed by the applicant, and countersigned by the competent authority of the parent department.
  • Attested copies of ACRs for the last five years, attested on each page with a seal by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India/State Government.
  • Cadre Clearance Certificate.
  • Integrity Certificate.
  • Vigilance Certificate.
  • A certificate verifying that the particulars furnished by the applicant are correct as per service records.

The completed application with all enclosures must be received by the specified last date.
