Specific qualifications are required for each post:
- Senior Research Fellow:
- Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / any discipline of Agriculture / Computer Science with 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR
- M.Tech. in Computer Application / Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized university with 4/5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR
- Post-graduate degree in Environmental Science / Geography with 3 years Bachelor's degree, 2 years Master's degree, NET qualification, and 2 years of research experience. OR
- B.Sc. (Ag.) with a four-year graduation degree followed by M.Sc. in any discipline. OR
- Ph. D. in any discipline of science.
- Desirable: Knowledge in satellite image processing, GIS, coding/developing ICT tools (Oracle/.Net/MATLAB/python/Java etc.).
- Young Professional-II:
- Master's degree in any discipline of Agriculture / Remote Sensing and GIS / Geoinformatics / Environmental Science. OR
- M.Tech. in Computer Application/ Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Science & Engineering / Software Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Information Technology from recognized university.
- Desirable: Ph.D. in any discipline of science, having knowledge in satellite image processing, GIS, coding/developing ICT tools (Oracle/.Net/MATLAB/python/Java etc.).
- Young Professional-I:
- Bachelor of Science in Agriculture/Botany/Zoology.
- Desirable: Experience in any research institute for field experiments, data collection, knowledge of IT applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tally etc.).
- Field Worker:
- Matric (10th pass) with +2 Vocational in agriculture related subject. OR
- Matric (10th pass) with two years of working experience in agriculture related field.
